Welcome to the Home of Kokanee Glacier Mountaineering Inc.
Kokanee Glacier Provincial Park is a ski touring paradise that is blessed with an abundance of north facing aspects and cold dry powder that is generally regarded as unequaled. The; Slocan Chief is logically located to best take advantage of the endless skiing terrain, and to provide an experience you will not forget.
KGMI manages the winter operation of Slocan Chief Cabin in Kokanee Glacier Park located at the heart of some of the finest backcountry ski terrain found in Western Canada. The historic Slocan Chief Cabin built in 1896 celebrated its 100th birthday in 1996.

will be offering all groups the opportunity to attend the Canadian Avalanche Association
Recreational Avalanche Course (RAC) during their week at Kokanee Glacier. For more
